Spyker continues to run at Le Mans
Le Mans live race update 15 June 2003 02:00
Tom Coronel just finished his double stint. The Dutchman handed the car over to Norman Simon.

"The car is fine now", Coronel said. "I just had to get used a little to the new gearbox. The ratios are a bit different so you have to be prepared on the track. Second and third are a bit too long so accelerating our of the corners takes a bit longer. Because the car was going well I made up a little game for myself. We agreed to drive a pace of four minutes and thirty seconds and I was trying hard to do exactly that time. It went quite well and I was very constant. When I ran into some traffic I just pushed a bit harder through the Porsche curves so I could make up. Then it is a bit of tough luck when you see a time of four twenty nine on your pitboard", Coronel joked.

Team Orange Spyker is now in 39th place at 56 laps from the leading Bentley of Smith, Capello and Kristensen.
