Four hours down, twenty to go
Le Mans live race update 14 June 2003 20:00
After four hours of driving, and thus with 20 hours still to go Norman Simon got back behind the wheel of the Spyker C8 Double 12R. The driver change meant a welcome change for Hans Hugenholtz who was exhausted when he got out of the car. "You cannot imagine how hot it is in there", Hans said. "But apart from the heat the car is fine", he said.

Norman Simon will now finish his stint on used tyres. After that Tom Coronel will take over for probably a double stint on fresh tyres

The race is being led by the Bentley in the hands of Tom Kristensen, Rinaldo Capello and Guy Smith, followed by its sister car driven by Johnny Herbert, David Brabham and Mark Blundell.

Team Orange Spyker is now in 40th place overall and 12th in their class.
