24 hour race of Le Mans started
Le Mans live race update 14 June 2003 16:00
The 24 hour race of Le Mans has just been started. After the rain that broke out after the warm up the sun is now shining and brought the temperature up to 27 degrees. The combination of the early rain and the high temperature make the atmosphere very humid so the circumstances for the drivers are quite heavy. The temperature on the Spyker dashboard indicated no less than 80 degrees. Thus the Team Orange Spyker drivers will start with single stints. Norman Simon will start the race and is likely to be releaved by Tom Coronel after about one hour.
